Inside the shell, there is a ½-inch thick closed-cell EPE foam designed to help reduce the risk of injury by protecting the jumper from direct contact with the trampoline's steel springs and frame. The width of the standard 14ft pad is 10 inches and is compatible with all trampolines that use springs ranging from 3.5 to 7 inches long.
